Back in 1995 I created the Bottom 95% award as a way to recognize those
pages that were not on the Top 5% lists of any web site. Keeping the list of
Bottom 95% sites, as you can imagine, quickly became more than I could
handle, and I passed along the duties of keeping the list to Ben Guaraldi,
who seemed to have more time for this. Then in 1998 control passed
to Rob Taylor, He even got a great
easy-to-remember URL:
