Peter's Page!

NOTE: I haven't really updated anything here in ages. But I have started a LiveJournal, which hopefully you might find interesting...

Welcome to my main page! Whether you followed an outside link, you were specifically searching for me, you set a few dozen monkeys typing away at your computer and my page suddenly came up, or you finally gave in to my nagging ("Here's my address, please oh please look at my page so I feel like I've done something useful!"), I thank you. Out of the millions of pages out there, you chose mine, and for that I am humbled and flattered. I hope to make your attempt at wasting time an enjoyable one.

What's Here

Most personal web pages contain various tidbits and miscellany about the author's life. So does mine. Face it, if I'm going to write about something, I may as well write about something I know well: me.

So if you look to the left, under the caption "My Pages!", you'll see pages I've written about a few places I lived (Long Island and Florida), colleges I went to (Princeton and WPI), and events in my life (my Wedding, and 1998's and 1999's Pool Parties). But in most of those pages, I have links to pages from the outside.

Some of those outside pages are listed at left as "Other Pages", pages I didn't write, but still have some importance to my life. I work for a company called Adapco (for which I wrote some of the web pages), I went to Westhampton Beach High School, (for which I've started a Class of 1987 web page), and I was in the Band at Princeton (and there's a link to the main page at WPI, too). I haven't traced my ancestors to anyone in the Dutton genealogy page, but maybe I will someday. And though nothing on the Simpsons Archive applies directly to me, I am a big fan, so why not include it here? And ClassMates is a cool site where you can find people from your high school class, as well as register to be found. It came in handy while helping to plan my 10th high school reunion. Finally, I must thank the Naples Free Net for giving me 2MB of space I can do fun stuff like this on.

However, I have also written some pages that may be of more general interest. For those about to get married, take a look at our wedding advice. It was given three stars by Yahoo Internet Life! You don't have to agree, but look anyway. If you're looking for a cool 4-player card game, check out what I have to say about Rook. A list of things not to do at a thesis defense that a few friends and I wrote in grad school has been posted on hundreds of web sites, but you can see the original here.

Other random links can be found in my Grab Bag. And if you want a meaningless accolade for your own page, I confer upon you a Bottom 95% Award, (an award I created) just for reading this far. Lucky you.

After exploring all that my pages have to offer, I direct your attention to the left again, to friends of mine who have their own pages (who no doubt have reciprocal links back to my page, right?).

Speaking of good old-fashioned email, write me to let me know that you were here! Let me know what you think, too, but try to properly sugarcoat the bad things.

Bye!
