Here's a small-sized gallery. Click on the pictures to see them bigger.

I have uploaded so far.
Or if you get bored waiting for all these pictures to load, then by all means go back to our wedding page.
I wish I had room to upload more pictures, and at better resolution, but it's a start!
(Many of these pictures were shot by Northern Exposure Photograhpy, 3 Pleasant Street, Bridgton ME 04009, phone: (207) 647-9505. They did a great job, and we'd certainly recommend them. The poor resolution of some of the pictures downloaded here does not do the originals justice! Some pictures were taken by guests using disposable cameras that we provided.)
Our lovely invitation.
"Together with our parents / Susan Rebecca Berube / and / Peter Alan
Dutton Jr. / request the honour of your presence / at their marriage / on
Saturday, the thirteenth of July / nineteen hundred and ninety-six / at
eleven o'clock in the morning / Saint Joseph's Church / South High Street
/ Bridgton, Maine // Reception to follow / Pleasant Point Inn / Center
Lovell, Maine" (Invite design from The Precious Collection, (800)
537-5222)
The
bride looking radiant, as always. (Flowers done by Taylor's Florist
in Steep Falls - we'd highly recommend them, too.)
The wonderful bridal party: (left to right) Craig Gottlieb,
Rich Berube (Sue's brother), Karen Carroll, Amy Szuchmacher
(maid of honor), Sue, me, Danny Dutton (my brother and best
man), Sharon Beth Kristal, Kim Call, and Paul Griffith.
The Berubes and the
Duttons (I don't remember why
my brother isn't in the picture).
The vows, presided over by Father Joseph
Whitlock. "I, Peter, take you, Sue, to be my wife. I promise to be
true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will
love you and honor you all the days of my life." And vice versa. Note
that we didn't say "I do". No "Speak now or forever hold
your peace" either. That's just Hollywood.
We gave out personalized
playing cards as favors. Isn't that neat? Rich did the design for us.
(The cards were printed by The Agency Promotions & Premiums, 4410
Austin Boulevard, Island Park, NY 11558, phone (516) 432-0600, fax (516)
432-0988. They did a fine job over the phone and fax, and it isn't
necessarily as expensive as you might think. We found them by looking
under "Novelties" in our local phone book.)
Rather than numbering the
tables, we named them after card games. This is the solitaire table (hee hee hee). Other
tables were bridge (where the couple, our parents, and our grandparents
sat), rook, poker, gin, rummy, hearts, spades, blackjack, euchre,
pinochle, cribbage, and go fish. (We were considering having an old maid
table, but...) I have a list of guests at
each table, if you're interested.

in our case) to go to a friend's wedding. It's kind of fuzzy, but you

Abbie Crispin wasn't going to
let anyone else anywhere near that bouquet...
Happy guests Lorraine Heilman and Scott Gordon
And a big thanks to Scott Gordon and Paul Griffith for helping
me scan these pictures in!
